FDA STANDARDS
Aqua Springs Bottle Water has the finished water product tested everyday of production by our in-house laboratory as based on FDA regulations. The federal and state health departments heavily regulate us, as part of the bottled water industry. Aqua Springs is inspected quarterly by the state of Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals Office of Public Health. Aqua Springs is inspected by the U.S. Food administration as well as a division of the F.D.A. for security and anti-terrorist actions against food products.
Aqua Springs is frequently inspected by the U.S. Army VETCOM and are proud to be one of the few bottle water companies listed on the “Approved Food Source List”. This is a list of sanitary establishments that are approved to cater to the needs of the military/government. Businesses not included on this list are not allowed to distribute their products to the military. Aqua Springs is honored to be on that approved list*.

Aqua Springs Bottle Water also has samples of water collected by the state officials for bacterial testing and a more stringent analysis by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for chemical, physical, and radiological testing that meets the FDA Quality Standards 21 CFR Section 165, 110 (B), as an extra precaution. Aqua Springs also sends samples of water to a Louisiana state accredited laboratory for testing to confirm our “in-house” laboratory.
