Aqua
Springs Bottle Water has the only state-of-the-art bottled
water purifying facility in the West Central La. area,
resulting in the ability to service each customer with
the lowest prices available of our competitors. |
|
Our
water purifying plant consists of a line of
different types of equipment, each with an important
part for producing “ultra pure drinking water.”
The beginning of the purifying process starts
with the pretreatment of the feed water using
water softeners, brine tanks, and carbon filters
to remove chlorine and calcium carbonate build-up. |
 |
|
 |
The
pretreated water is then ran through the reverse
osmosis systems that removes 99% of the total
dissolved solids from the water. The Reverse
Osmosis systems are the most important part
of the purifying process. |
|
The pretreated water is pumped with very high
pressure through micron filters and thin-film
composite membranes of the R.O. systems at a rate
of 10 gallons per minute of ultra pure water being
pumped to the storage tanks while about 10 gallons
per minute of waste water containing the total
dissolved solids are being filtered to the drain. |
 |
|
|
As the “ultra
pure” water enters the storage tanks to await
the filling/capping process, it does not sit still.
The pure water is constantly cycled through the
Ozone generator systems that inject freshly made
pure ozone into the storage tanks, keeping the
“ultra pure” water crisp and refreshing and destroying
any bacteria, viruses or matter that might have
survived the R.O. Treatment. |
